Karimunjawa Island is such a well known place that located in Jepara, Central Java. There are so many places in there that can easily drop your jaw and bringing you to heaven of beautiful view of white sand beaches. However, in every weekends, this famous island is always packed with visitors both from local or international. But, if you are planning to go there, but you lack of time and looking for more affordable price, as a local, I would highly recommend you to go to Pulau Panjang (translated: Long Island). It only took 15–20 minutes to take you there by a boat, compared to Karimunjawa, it's 6 times shorter!! Here are the steps you can follow:
1. Go to Kartini Beach.
Kartini beach is very well-known with the gigantic statue of a turtle, you can go inside and see a massive amount of aquariums filled with fishes and other sea animals! In case you have a problem finding it on Google Maps, don't worry! Here I attach the link! https://g.co/kgs/eKPaf8M
2. Ask the gate security for the ticketing locket to Pulau Panjang.
To go inside the Kartini Beach, you need to pay 5k-10k rupiah to the front gate security (depends on when you visit, whether it's weekday or weekend), and ask them the ticketing locket, and they will happily inform you the direction.
3. Buy the ticket.
The same rule still exists, weekend/weekday price is different. BUT, it will only cost you 25k-30k per person, and It's for round-trip!! hella cheap!!
4. Enjoy the ride.

Even though you may need to wait for the batch of your ride, don't worry! The officer there are so nice and humble, you can easily have a chit-chat with them! (I suggest you to come early at 8 a.m. and you are going to be the first person arrived!)
5. Welcome to Pulau Panjang.

HAPPY! You are now arrived at Pulau Panjang. You can choose anywhere to enjoy the view. There are gazebos, benches, and many other places! (again, I suggest you to choose the spot I'm taking the last time I went there. It was a little bit of adventure, you have to get through the bushes for only less than 3 minutes. First thing from the front gate, you turn right, u may see a wooden gate, keep walking forward, after a gazebo, get ready to turn right and walk through the bushes! But don't worry, you will find a way! Trust me!)
