Sad news comes from the world of international music. On October 16, 2024, singer Liam Payne, former member of the famous band one direction, was found tragically dead in a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This tragedy not only shocked his friends, family but also millions of fans around the world.

The incident began when the manager of the hotel where Liam was staying claimed to have heard a loud noise at the back of the hotel. The manager made a 991 emergency call with a report that there was an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
After receiving this report, the police from 14B along with the medical team from the emergency medical attention system (SAME) immediately came to the location. They found Liam Payne lying on the floor after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room. Unfortunately, Liam's life could not be saved due to his severe injuries.
“Liam James Payne, composer and guitarist, former member of the band One Direction, died today after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Palermo,” Buenos Aires police said.

Suspected cause of death
The police also stated that before this tragic tragedy, Liam was allegedly under the influence of a dangerous substance or drug called cristal. This substance can cause euphoria to deep sadness, even uncontrolled aggression. This substance also often causes users to experience hallucinations. This is what allegedly caused Liam Payne to jump from the third floor balcony of his hotel room. However, the investigation is still ongoing and more information is expected to come to light.
