‘’ Stop Consuming a Lot of Sugar, This Is The Result of Consuming A Lot of Sugar.

Excess sugar consumption can cause health problems for our body. According to the Ministry of Health, excessive sugar consumption, whether from food or beverages, has a high risk of causing health problems such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes and even tooth decay.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, 28.7% of Indonesians consume Sugar Salt Fat (GGL) more than the recommended limit. Therefore here are some of the health problems caused by consuming too much sugar:
Obesity 
Excess sugar can cause insulin resistance, resulting in increased blood sugar levels. This can increase the risk of obesity.

Diabetes
Excess sugar consumption can increase the risk of diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is a disease that occurs when blood sugar (glucose) levels. Exceeds the normal limit. This condition occurs because the body cannot process sugar properly, so sugar accumulates in the bloodstream. 
 
Threatened dental health
Sugar can feed bacteria in the mouth, which then produce acid and erode tooth enamel. This can increase the risk of dental caries. 

Let's reduce sugar consumption together for a healthier and happier life. Let’s avoid or try not to consume excess sugar. The recommended maximum limit of sugar consumption per day is 4 tablespoons equivalent to 50 grams. 

It's time to make positive changes in our diet. Start with:
reading food labels for sugar content, replacing sugary drinks with water or herbal tea, choosing healthy snacks such as fresh fruits or nuts, remember that health is the best investment for our future.
