In this digital era, where information flows as fast as our fingers scroll through a screen, smartphones are not just a tool, but a gateway to infinite knowledge. Imagine a classroom where curiosity need not wait, where students can explore interesting facts and complex topics on the spot. With smartphones, we can change the face of learning, making it richer, interactive and truly engaging. Data supports that the presence of digital devices in the classroom is crucial to improving the quality of education. as for the advantages of using digital technology for learning activities :
1. Improving Comprehension and Interest in Learning
A study from Educause Centre for Analysis and Research found that 70% of students find it easier to understand lessons with the help of digital devices. With smartphones, students can instantly access additional information or more detailed explanations that are not always available in textbooks. The Journal of Computer Assisted Learning also reported that students who learnt with interactive methods based on digital devices showed 40% higher participation than those who learnt with conventional methods, making learning more interesting and getting students more involved in the learning process.
2. Save Time and Improve Customisation of Materials

Teachers can provide up-to-date and varied content quickly, tailoring topics to student needs. This ability to provide relevant, up-to-date material is crucial in an era where information is always evolving.

Given all these advantages, it is high time we integrate this technology effectively into learning, making learning relevant and dynamic.
Ultimately, devices in the classroom are very useful tools if used appropriately. Strict supervision and regulation from schools and teachers will prevent misuse, while wide access to information and interactive learning methods will help students reach their full potential. So, instead of banning the use of devices in the classroom, we should look for ways to integrate them effectively into learning.
